End User License Agreement — swik (swik.io)

1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using the swik API (including anonymous access), you agree to this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. What swik Is (and Isn't)
⚠ NOT FINANCIAL ADVICE. swik produces machine-learning-generated sentiment signals. These outputs are informational only — not investment advice. Do not use swik output as the sole basis for any financial decision.
3. Permitted Use
Personal and research use: any tier. Commercial use: paid (enterprise) tier only.
4. Prohibited Use
You may not resell raw API output, scrape beyond rate limits, automate account creation, manipulate markets, or reverse-engineer swik infrastructure.
5. API Tiers and Rate Limits
Anonymous: 100 req/day · Free: per plan · Paid: per plan. Misuse may result in throttling or suspension.
6. Subscriptions and Payments
Paid plans billed as described on swik.io. Refunds at swik's discretion. Pricing may change with notice.
7. Your Contributions and the Open Dataset
Labels and annotations you submit become part of the swik open dataset (CC BY 4.0). This is irrevocable once incorporated.
8. Data and Privacy
swik collects usage data to operate and improve the Service. Your personal data is not sold to third parties.
9. No Warranty
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty. Use outputs critically and alongside other sources.
10. Limitation of Liability
swik's liability is limited to amounts paid in the prior 3 months (min €10). No liability for indirect or financial losses.
11. Account Termination
swik may terminate accounts for violations. Contributions already in the dataset are not removed.
12. Changes to These Terms
Material changes notified by email 14 days in advance. Continued use = acceptance.
13. Governing Law
Governed by the laws of Germany, state of Bayern.
